General Introduction

Reactor is a kind of inductive element, which is a device used in power system because of its inductance characteristics. The reactor plays the role of reactive power compensation, current limiting, smoothing, filtering, damping, and shifting in the circuit. It is a commonly used and important power equipment in the power system, especially in the parallel compensation device, the series reactor is mainly to reduce the closing inrush current, improve the voltage waveform of the power grid, and suppress the harmonic amplification and limit the damage of the capacitor to the capacitor.
Dry-type reactors are insulated by epoxy resin, which have the characteristics of high heat resistance, flame-retardant, explosion-proof, maintenance-free, impact resistance, long life, easy installation and use, and are widely used.
At present, we can design and produce 6kV~110kV dry-type air-core series reactors, and 10kV and 35kV dry-type iron-core reactors. And obtained the type test of the Suzhou Academy of Sciences. our main product types such as:

1. Series reactor: It is connected in series with the capacitor in the parallel capacitor compensation device to suppress the harmonic current and limit the closing inrush current.
2. Current-limiting reactor: The current-limiting reactor is connected in series to the system to suppress the short-circuit current and limit the short-circuit current within the allowable range when the system fails.
3. Filtering reactor: used in series with the filter capacitor bank to form a tuning loop to filter out specific high-order harmonics to achieve reactive power compensation of the power system and limit the surge current when the capacitor bank is put into the power grid.
4. Parallel reactor: connected in parallel to the power system, through the main transformer to the system to deliver inductive non-function, used to compensate the capacitive current of the transmission line, prevent the light load line terminal voltage from rising, and maintain the voltage stability of the transmission system.

2. All reactors are encapsulated by long glass strands impregnated with epoxy resin. The reactor is composed of several coils.
3. The reactor coil adopts a film with excellent insulation performance as the turn insulation of the wire, which improves the insulation performance of the reactor. 2.3 Dry-type iron core Shunt reactor

     BKSC shunt reactor core is made of high quality silicon steel sheet, core column with multiple air gap is divided into homogeneous segments, air-gap used high temperature high strength adhesive,end face glue end face is made of high quality silicon steel sheet, and greatly reduce the noises in the run. Coil is made of epoxy resin vacuum casting, after high temperature curing . 2.4 Dry-type iron core starting reactor

Application
When AC asynchronous motor starts under the rated voltage, the initial starting current is big, often many times rated current (usually 5 to 7 times). In order to reduce the effect of the starting current on the grid, the typical measure is to start AC asynchronous motor at decreased voltage. The method of decreasing voltage is to use a reactor or auto-transformer. The starting time of AC motor is very short (as usual several seconds to 2 minutes), and after starting, the reactor or auto-transformer is disconnected. The reactor is designed and developed as per the starting characteristics of AC asynchronous motor, and the matched motor power is from 220KW to 14000KW.

Features:
The dry-type iron core starting reactor has the features of small volume, light weight,
  1.  than traditional oil-immersed shunt reactor, starting reactor volume is smaller, with light weight, small space occupation, simple structure and easy installation, compared to traditional oil-immersed reactor and hollow reactor.
  2. Temperature resistance: Grade F (155ºC);
  3. Power consumption of a dry-type iron core starting reactor is lower than that of an oil immersed reactor.
  4. The noise of a dry-type iron core starting reactor is lower than the stipulation of national standard (50db).


Service conditions:
  1. Altitude: 1000m or less.
  2. Operation ambient temperature: -25ºC- +45ºC.
  3. Indoor installation, without strenuous vibration and any harmful gas or dust and inflammable and explosive articles.
  4. When the starting time is up to 2 minutes (the total time for once or several times), six hour cooling is required.

2.5 Dry-type iron core filter reactor

Structural characteristics of

 
  1. the filter reactor is divided into three phase and single phase two , are the core dry.
  2. Iron core is made of high quality, low loss imported cold rolled silicon steel sheet, core column composed of multiple air gap is divided into homogeneous segments, air gap using epoxy laminated glass cloth plate spacing, using special adhesive glue, to ensure that the reactance air gap in the process of operation does not change.
  3. Coil adopts F lacquer BaoBian copper wire winding, arrange tightly and evenly.

Use
